Touchstone Trials – A series of extremely difficult trials that help shape gifted young soldiers. Grandmaster Touchstone Trials shape soldiers into masters of one skill or another. If a child is identified as gifted in melee combat, the trials are particularly daunting, and death during the trials is not unheard of.
